Bowflex BXT216 Treadmill Review
If you didn’t know that the BXT216 is a folding home-use treadmill, you might think it’s a light commercial model from the performance specs. The 4.0 CHP motor and Comfort Tech deck suspension are high-end. The belt system has a three-ply track and 2.75″ rollers, which is exceptional for a home gym. Digital technology on Bowflex Results equipment is outstanding as well. An integrated 9-inch color screen is your portal to 11 built-in workouts and especially immersive cardio training with the Zwift exercise app. Four users can save their profiles, and workout data can be exported to the manufacturer’s Results mobile app or a variety of third-party fitness apps such as Apple HealthKit, Google Fit, and MyFitnessPal. A chest strap for wireless heart rate monitoring and an 8-week trial subscription to Dailyburn video workouts are also included with purchase. All in all, the new BXT216 exceeds our expectations for an under-$2000 treadmill.
The Bowflex Results T216 is a foldable treadmill designed for low maintenance and high performance. It carries a decent warranty for home use (2 years) and could likely hold its own against light commercial models. Some high-end features include a 4.0 CHP drive for serious running, a robust system of variable cushioning, a three-ply workout belt, and an oversized workout surface. Impressive workout variety is accessible with a 9″ color touchscreen. Besides the 11 built-in treadmill training programs, users can use Zwift digital workouts for treadmills, ellipticals, and exercise bikes. Additionally, Dailyburn video access is supplied for 8 weeks.
This top-of-the-line model has a 4.0 CHP drive motor to support your toughest training. The workout belt is extra roomy at 22″ wide and 60″ long, giving any trainee enough room to run at top speed in comfort.
To support efficient weight loss, the BXT216 features a Burn Rate Console. The display indicates your calorie burn per minute to add motivation and help you train harder for longer.
For faster calorie burn and lean muscle definition, a power incline is included.
The 9″-wide color screen is backlit for easy viewing. The console has Bluetooth, a tablet computer ledge and a charging port. The Bluetooth connectivity lets users export data to the Bowflex Results app and other mobile apps for tracking fitness activity.
Four user profiles are supported, which helps make this a “family treadmill” in addition to a great trainer for the single runner.
The deck is very well-cushioned, even for trainees approaching the machine’s 400-pound weight limit. Called Comfort Tech, the high quality suspension system will minimize fatigue compared with outdoor running surfaces, promoting better endurance and faster progress toward fitness goals.
The BXT216 features a three-ply belt for maintenance-free performance and the belt rollers are 2.75 inches in diameter. Both of these specs are expected on light commercial treadmills but not on the average residential model.
A high quality wireless chest strap ships with the machine. Additionally Bowflex Results fitness machines have grip heart rate monitors on their handlebars.

This is a high end machine built to last that delivers all of the features and programs anyone could want out of a home treadmill. Highly recommend for anyone with enough space and/or money to fit it into their lives.
